Why Drumming?

The drum has always played a prominent role in society. Consider the tribal talking drum spanning through centuries of musical adaptation and interpretation to the techno beats today.

Whether primitive or synthesised, a thundering pounding of rhythm or a gentle symphony or harmonious sounds, the drum touches us all as the heartbeat within music.

Musical Jigsaw

The 'musical jigsaw' is made up of a variety of rhythms. Each individual musical jigsaw 'piece' is easy to learn and our facilitators will be there to support you. When the rhythms come together the result is a very complex percussive soundscape.
